Course Content
A First Aid Responder (FAR) Refresher course designed to update and enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals who have previously completed a FAR course. The course covers the following key aeas;
The purpose of the FAR Refresher course is to ensure that First Aid Responders maintain their proficiency and stay current with the latest first aid practices and protocols. A FAR Refresher Course is required within 2 years of completing a 3 day FAR course and then every 2 years to keep your certification in date.
What you can expect
Participants of this course can expect a refresher of the lifesaving and first aid skills that they can then use when required in a workplace setting. They will understand the important life threatening and non-life-threatening lifesaving steps in the event of an emergency and apply them until emergency services are available. With FAR Training, participants can be confident that they have the skills necessary to assist and manage a life-threatening event with composure and hand over effectively to emergency personnel.
