Terms and Conditions: Hibernian Healthcare

Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully prior to booking. Hibernian Healthcare reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting to the company website. Your continued use of the Hibernian Healthcare website constitutes your agreement to Hibernian Healthcare’s Terms and Conditions.

Course Availability

All Hibernian Healthcare courses are subject to availability. Hibernian Healthcare reserves the right to refuse any individual or group booking and/or cancel or reschedule any training at any time.

Hibernian Healthcare also reserves the right to change the venue or scheduled timings at any time, Hibernian Healthcare will endeavour to ensure as much notice as possible will be given to the client, and if the new dates and venues are not suitable for the client, a transfer to an available alternative date will be offered.

If a course is cancelled, the client will be informed at the earliest opportunity and the client will be offered a full refund and/or invited to transfer to the next available course.

Please note Hibernian Healthcare are not responsible for any certification that may expire due to a cancelled or rescheduled date.
Hibernian Healthcare will not be liable for any costs incurred by the client or delegates in the event of cancellations or rescheduling of any course.

Attendance

All attendees must attend and complete all elements of the course to qualify for certification (where certification applies). All attendees are required to be ready to commence training 10 mins before the scheduled session and any attendee who is more than 15 minutes late will be refused admission and deemed a “no show”. The full cost of the course will still be charged.

Fitness to Attend

Attendees on any course must be free from any ailment, condition or injury that will affect their ability to participate during the practical aspects of the course (where applicable). Attendees should have fluent enough level of spoken and written English to be able to understand the content of the course and achieve certification.

Re-certification

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that attendees attending a re-certification course have a previously held certificate. If the attendee does not have their previous certification their re-certification certificate will be invalid regardless of the success of the attendee on the recertification course.

Payment

Individual attendees: Payment must be made at the time of booking via credit card, we accept the following forms of payment:
Company Bookings: An invoice will be issued at the time of booking. New clients will be required to pay their full invoice prior to 21 days of commencement date of the course. If the booking is within 21 days of the course full payment will be required to secure the booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations notified in writing up to 14 days prior to the training course start date will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellations notified in writing less than 14 days and up to 5 days prior to the training course start date will be refunded 50% of the course fee.
  • Cancellations notified in writing less than 5 days prior to the training course start date will be charged the full course fee.
  • Failure to show up on the day of the course will result in the full course fee being charged.

Substitutions

Transfers/Substitute of participants

Companies and individuals may substitute participants prior to the start of the course. Course transfers/substitutions require notification in writing to Hibernian Healthcare prior to the course commencement date. An admin fee of 20% of booking will apply for substitutions made within 48 hours of the training date.

Law Jurisdiction

The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
