What we do in Patient Support Services

We are patient-focused medical services company prioritising the well-being of our patients above all else. Since 2006, Hibernian Healthcare has successfully delivered patient support programmes for the Pharmaceutical industry in Ireland. Working now with 15 leading Pharma clients as well as private patients, we offer ISO-accredited services with an industry-leading team covering all 26 counties. Our dedicated nurses provide compassionate expert care, we tailor our services to the specific needs of each patient ensuring that they receive a consistent level of service on their healthcare journey.

Many elements can be blended into a patient support programme, and we offer the following:

Clinical Trials Support

We have supported Clinical Trials across many therapy areas and can provide management and patient services at home or in-clinic including:

  • Phlebotomy
  • Centrifugation of samples
  • Packing samples and liaising with international couriers
  • Other diagnostic testing including arranging x-rays and ultrasound tests
  • ECG
  • Country Manager service

Our multi-disciplinary nurse team covers the Republic of Ireland and includes research nurses.

Blood Drawing (Phlebotomy) At Home

Blood Drawing (Phlebotomy) at Home

At Hibernian Healthcare we are delighted to support patients requiring Phlebotomy (Blood Draw) in the comfort of their own home. We pioneered this service in 2000 and were the first to offer GP and Warfarin blood testing, saving people from driving to hospital outpatient clinics.

We can deliver blood samples directly back to the hospital or use our private lab (at pass through cost). A referral / blood request form from your GP or specialist is required to provide this service. Our fully qualified nurses or phlebotomists will contact you to arrange a suitable time and come to your home to take your blood sample. They will then either return the sample to your hospital or to our private laboratory for analysis.
