Specialist Medicine Handling Course

Course Content

Medicines for listed organisations can be stand-alone or added to any FAR course. This is a specialist course centred around the storage and administering of listed medicines.

MLO is designed to help Organisations to be fully prepared ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all staff members. Organisations can now legally store and administer certain medicines in an emergency such as Epinephrine, Glucagon, Glycerol trinitrate, Salbutamol inhaler, Naloxone hydrochloride and Medical gas mixture of 50% nitrous oxide and 50% oxygen.  If you are interested in finding out about the MLO courses we offer, please click here (training@hibernianhealth.com) and email us and we will be in touch as soon as possible.
