Our comprehensive course begins by providing a clear understanding of the risks associated with manual handling. Participants will learn and practice proper lifting techniques, identify ways to avoid unnecessary manual handling, understand how to use mechanical aids effectively, and develop awareness of ergonomics and its importance in the workplace.

  • Risk Assessment & Evaluation, Identifying potential hazards and assessing the level of risk.

  • Control Measures, Strategies to alleviate or eradicate risks.

  • Anatomy, Basic understanding of the spine and muscle groups, their structure, and common injuries.

  • Posture and Movement

  • Safe Lifting Techniques

  • Use of Mechanical Aids

  • Ergonomics

This course is very practical and also covers the theory, ensuring a thorough understanding and application of manual handling principles.
