
CellAED®: The groundbreaking defibrillator trial helping save lives
On Friday evening, Australia’s national broadcaster, ABC Radio National hosted some special guests to discuss the groundbreaking trial by Ambulance Victoria of a simple portable defibrillator device (CellAED®) and the impact it is having saving lives by allowing first responders to provide vital medical care before paramedics arrive. The guests included Bernadette Taylor, trainee nurse and someone saved by CellAED®. Lee Ridsdale, nurse and Ambulance Community Officer, and first responder to Bernadette. Dr Ziad Nehme, Paramedic and Director of Research and Evaluation, Ambulance Vitoria.
