Field Safety Notice – CellAED®

A Field Safety Notice has been issued by the European Authorised Representative for CellAED.

The notice advises that Rapid Response Revival, the manufacturer of CellAED, has entered into liquidation.

We would like to reassure all customers that their CellAED device remains fully operational and safe to use until the expiry date printed on the device. There is no requirement to return your device, and it may continue to be used as normal.

Following consultation with the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA), we have formally notified all our customers with devices that have not yet expired of this development. As a result of the manufacturer entering liquidation, any external monitoring previously provided as part of the CellAED For Life membership programme has now ceased.

What You Need to Do

Customers are advised to:

Carry out regular visual maintenance checks of their device

Confirm that the unit is active

Ensure that the green indicator light is flashing
