Participants are trained to conduct Manual Handling Risk Assessments and deliver Training both in-company and externally. The course is intensive and highly participative. Instructional skills as well as the theoretical and practical aspects of manual handling are addressed.

4. Principles and Techniques
5. Planning and Design of appropriate training programmes
6. Delivery of appropriate Training programmes
Students will be required to demonstrate safe lifting practices and therefore must be physically capable of lifting in order to participate in the course.
Participants complete a written and practical exam. A written assignment must also be submitted which is completed in the candidate’s own time.
